Racing United and Bridgeport, played out an exciting 2-2 draw in a top-of-the-table clash in the fifth round of games in the LIME-Portmore Division Two football league at the Racing field, Gregory Park, last Sunday.
Both teams are locked at the top of the standings with 11 points apiece.
Jason Smith fired the equaliser that gave Racing a share of the points. Cordinal Williams scored Racing’s other goal, while Alan Hunter and Nicholas Tucker scored for Bridgeport.
In the opening game at the venue, Braeton United (five points) scored their first win of the competition as they edged Silverstone (one point) 1-0, Silverstone are at the bottom of the league.
Leading striker Keino Walker struck a double as East Portmore Portals drew 2-2 with Cumberland, while Greater Portmore jumped to 10 points, just a point off the leaders as they defeated lowly placed Garveymeade 2-0.
The competition continues tomorrow with four matches.
